If you’ve been wondering why didn’t AFA09 announce anything with regards to any kind of autograph sessions with the 5 different (including Miku, though you probably wouldn’t receive anything from her, save for songs of love) artistes that would be performing during the “I Love Anisong” Event, here’s why.

Recently announced on AFA09’s website is the “I Love Anisong” Autograph Lucky Draw System. First things first though, those who did not purchase the concert tickets (yeah, the Saturday/Sunday tickets for the Event itself, not the entrance tickets) are not eligible for the Lucky Draw. However, if you’ve purchased the tickets… go on, you might just be one of the twenty lucky people per artist to receive their autographs!

The system works like this: All you have to do is to go to this link, fill up the forms and your ticketing number and seats and whatnot and you will stand a chance to receive your chosen artist’s autograph! Both one or two days concert ticket holders are eligible for this lucky draw, and both categories will have equal chance to receive an autograph.

Instead of bringing your own item for the autograph session, AFA09 will provide a complimentary import CD of the artist that you have selected. Then, this CD will be used for the artist to sign on after the concert at a designated area. Not a bad deal huh?

However, if you’re expecting to see Shoko Nakagawa in person as she signs your CD, you’ll probably be disappointed. Apparently, for those who had chosen Shoko Nakagawa as their artist will receive a pre-signed CD instead.

AFA09 will be the site of many events, and is probably one of the biggest anime/manga/japanese subculture event ever held in Singapore. AFA09 will be held in Suntec Convention Hall 401 to 402, on the 21th to 22th of November. Quite disappointed that Shoko-tan wouldn’t be holding an autograph session for her fans. Maybe Shoko-tan is busy with other activities? Better than nothing anyway!
