AFA09 Pre-Registration Opened!

AFA09

If you’re thinking of visiting AFA09 this year, your best bet to skip the queue and avoid waiting for hours just to get your ticket has arrived. Pre-register yourself with AFA09 to make sure that on Saturday, the first day of the event, you’ll get into the event as soon as you arrive (or when it opens).

Ticket prices are as stated in the previous post, although for convenience’s sake, I’ll type it here again.

For the general public, a 2 days ticket will cost you SGD$25.

For students, a 2 days ticket will cost you SGD$20.

Pre-registration is limited to 2 days ticket only, so pre-register away if you’re planning to get the 2 days ticket to AFA09. Will definitely be worth it if you grab the 2 days ticket! No payment is needed, but you’ll need to print out your confirmation e-mail on the collection day itself to pay and get your pre-registration tickets. There’s no added benefits from getting a pre-registration ticket, except you get to skip the extremely long queue that many people had experienced during AFA08’s first day.

Ticket collection date will be on the 20th of November, one day before the first day of the event starting 12 noon all the way to 6pm. Payment must be in cash, and you can collect the ticket at Suntec Convention Center, Level 4, Ticketing Counter. For more information, you can check out the pre-registration site.

See you at AFA09!

They pretty much did last year regarding the pre-registration. Hopefully, they do a better job this year.

But then again, should we really care about that? We should care more about what we could possibly buy in AFA and the events that will be going on!

I remember pre-registering my ticket last year. In the end, when I went to claim it about an hour before the doors opened, the people at the counter said the pre-registration thing didn’t matter at all. Guessed they messed up that time. Seeing that they’re taking a different approach this year, I’m actually feeling pretty optimistic.
