
K-ON’s popularity is unrivaled… or not?
Recently revealed on the Oricon’s charts, it looks like Bakemonogatari is actually raking in higher amount of Blu-Ray sales than the all-popular K-ON!
While K-ON had reached an impressive 30,000 copies sold on it’s final DVD for the first week, the 4th volume of Bakemonogatari had raked in 48,000 copies sold in the first week, only a mere 1,000 copies away from the high anime Blu-Ray copies sold: Evangelion 1.1: You Are (Not) Alone.
With only a couple more episodes left on Bakemonogatari’s listing, one can’t help but to wonder if SHAFT is actually taking this opportunity to stash the remaining episodes onto the final discs. Well, that can’t be helped, as it has been sometime since the last episode was actually streamed…
