Signature stuff now. Snow AND Walkers.

For those that who can’t wait (like me) for the release of Lost Planet, fear not, a producer Jun Takeuchi has been quoted saying on Famitsu.com that the same demo that was premiered in E3 will be available on Xbox Live… “soon”, he guesses.

While soon isn’t exactly the best of words to give us an approximate time frame of the demo release, at least we have the confirmation that it’ll be released in a form of a demo.

Looking back, Lost Planet 2 had plenty of awesome reviews on the demo that was showcased on E3. I mean, who doesn’t like 4 players cooperative games? Since it’s from Capcom, it’s like playing Monster Hunter with Gun and Mechas, and who doesn’t love guns and mechas anyway? Especially taking down huge, ugly, multi-legged monsters.

Some of the other features that was revealed for Lost Planet 2 during the Famitsu program for Xbox 360 includes some pretty awesome stuff like customization of your own character, weapon sets and even featuring some computer-controller bots for multiplayer. It is also said that some of these customizable stuff are only available after you unlock specific achievements for the game. However, it’s not known of these things will be included in the demo, although I highly doubt it will be anyway.

Lost Planet 2 will be available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2010. Not too far from now, considering that we’re halfway through 2009.
