I realize I’ve not blogged in ages. Nevertheless, the review continues, despite the temptation to review another new series and dropping this (*cough*).
We finally learn the name of the girl that kissed Layfon in episode 1, Lilin, and she meets Synola, in a suggestive manner.

Like an orange, yes? LESBIAN SPANK INFERNO!
After the OP, we’re shown that the 17th Platoon had just finished their training, with Sharnid’s fangirls fawning all over him, and Nina and Felli ignores Layfon for reasons unknown. They hit the showers, with the exception of Layfon and Felli, who was concerned with perverts peeking at her.
Sharnid comments about Felli’s measurements.
Meanwhile, Karyan visits Layfon in a toilet somewhere, and he brings up the topic of Layfon’s past as a Heaveans-Blade wielder, while Layfon calmly and cooling shrugs off his questions, and counters with a question for him regarding his sister.
It runs in the family, I guess.
Later that night, Layfon and Nina report for work and Nina questions Layfon about his overpowered abilities (at least to the students there), and Layfon elaborates about his past during break. During this time, the city stops moving, and Nina immediately realizes that something’s wrong with Zuellni, the Electronic Fairy. Nina finds out that a group of wolf-masked fairy thieves have taken Zuellni, and before she intervenes, a man appears in front of her and attempts to dissaude the wolf-masked men. Layfon tries to reach them, but the mysterious man brings the wolf-masked men, Nina and himself into what seems to be another dimension, where they fight.
A DEMENTOR! EXPECTO PATRONUM!
The mysterious man informs the wolf-masked men that their information is incorrect, and when Nina stares into the face of an unmasked wolf-mask man, she seems to be affected by the sight, and the man unleashes his kei to defeat all of them in one go.
Talk to the hand!
After the battle, the man’s name is revealed to be Dixerio Maskane, and he makes Nina forget about whatever happened to Zuellni, and brings Nina and Zuellni back to the real world, where Layfon finally reaches Nina. A flashback of what happened to Nina is shown, and we see Nina in a bed, while Harley explains her past and her motives in life to Layfon at the medical centre.
Layfon gets mistaken with a certain professor’s name, and is whipped by Naruki.
Outside the medical centre, Layfon gets ambushed by the three school press club members with Naruki’s whip/rope, and they side-track from Meishen’s mission to give Layfon her food carrier when Layfon spots Felli, and Naruki ropes her for Mifi to be interviewed.
Felli likes to be whipped by Naruki’s whip/rope, it seems.
On the train back to dorm, Felli expresses her disappointment in Layfon, but decides put the matter to rest if she calls him “Fon-Fon”, and beseeches him to call her by her first name, both decisions which makes Layfon very uncomfortable.
The queen is actually not the queen, and the queen is actually a “normal” citizen?
Meanwhile, in Layfon’s home city Grendan, a crisis apparently surfaces with regards to the 12th Heavens-Blade wielder, and it is revealed that the real queen is undercover as Synola, while her subject, Canalice impersonates her. The episode ends with a shot of a Felli using her telepath powers while looking out of the city’s dome, and a Filth Monster clinging onto a cliff, not far from Zuellni City, and the insanity begins once again.
Oh yeah, but can you bullet-dodge l ike Neo?
For some reason, this “alternate” show appears, and we see a man and a girl called Sae escaping from someplace, with heavily-armed guards trying to stop them. Apparently, the man has some special ability in his right eye and left arm, and he defeats the guards, while making a “deal” to protect Sae.
Honestly, this episode once again throws more questions at us rather than answering them, and the inclusion of the crazy unrelated “alternate show” makes it even more confusing. What’s up with the wolf-masked men, and Dixerio Maskane? How is the “alternate show” related to the main story? Hopefully episode 4 answers them, but apparently episode 4 seems to hold no answers as well, judging from the episode preview. Stay tuned for episode 4!
