After the previous insane episode, we finally get to rest our poor, tortured brains from thinking and revel in this fanservice episode. Hooray!

Argh, no! Go away! I want fanservice, not surreal animation!

The episode opens with the surrealistic part again, but thankfully it was just a short clip which explained nothing except for clarifying that two characters are supposedly mercenaries.

Sharnid really likes Layfon, I guess.

We then cut to a scene at a maid cafe, with Sharnid and Layfon patronizing it. When a waitress approaches their table, the truth is revealed.

I foresee figma of Felli in this attire soon.

We find out that Felli is working at the maid cafe that Sharnid and Layfon are at, and they scamper off after Sharnid laughs at Felli’s attire, and she sulks in the kitchen, while remembering what Sharnid told her.

Sharnid is a pimp daddy?!

While Felli sulks, Sharnid drags Layfon out to a rooftop across the cafe to take a photo of her smile, as Felli gets a mild rap from her boss about her smile, and goes off to practice smiling in the washroom.

The maid cafe owner has great taste in fashion and colours.

Sharnid explains his clever plot to an unwitting Layfon.

After Felli fails to impress her boss with her smile, the maid cafe owner decides to change her image and attire to suit her personality.

I foresee a figma variation.

While serving the tables, she encounters a strangely-dressed man in the cafe, and she quickly figures out that its Karyan, and gives him a well-deserved kick in the shin.

Yeah, it runs in the family alright.

Felli walks out of the cafe in her school uniform, and promptly spots Sharnid with her telepath skill and destroys his camera and the memory card with it. Layfon attempts to profess his innocence, but she cuts short his sentence as she already knows it, and reprimands him.

Try telling that to your brother, Felli.

Layfon, for some strange reason, follows Felli and she explains to him the reason why she is working part time, before walking away alone to a random cafe in the city.

“Damn! Where did I park my car?”

While browsing through the classifieds, she overhears Naruki, Mifi and Meichen discussing about a job, and she insists on taking up their job.

Is it just me or does the line sound strangely suggestive?

Apparently, the job was to enter the old research building of the school’s former Alchemy department to investigate rumours of hauntings and find clues about the major accident which happened there.

Mifi is finding the fatal frame.

OH NOES TENTACLE RAPE!

While taking photos of the place, Mifi goes missing and the rest of the group try to find her. Unfortunately, Meichen and Naruki go missing, and Felli is left alone to confront the Filth Monster, when Vance appears to rescue her. After Vance explains the reason why the research building is closed off, and his investigation of the place, he orders Felli to search for the missing students using her telepathy, and also to get help from Layfon and Nina.

Bishoujou Senshi Felli-chan!

Felli finds the Filth Monster, and both Vance and Felli proceed to eliminate it. Just as they are about to lose the battle to the Filth Monster, Felli decides unwillingly to use  her powers to kill the monster, and Vance delivers the finishing blow to it.

Outside the research building, Vance lectures the three school press members for trespassing, and Nina and Layfon arrives at the scene, too late for any action, but glad to see Felli alright.

Felli’s “relationship” with Nina is revealed in front of Layfon’s eyes.

Layfon saw something that no one should see.

As the episode draws to a close, we see Karyan elaborating on her sister’s actions that night to Vance when he reports to Karyan about the incident, and Layfon and Felli have a talk at the bridge, where he an ultra-rare smile from Felli, shortly followed by a kick to his shins.
