Classic Castlevania Meets Half-Life 2

The source engine is a really powerful engine. Allowing people to do whatever modifications they want is a powerful thing as it increases the longevity of the game, and in this case… someone thought that it’s fitting to place NES Castlevania into the engine of Half-Life 2.

The results looks pretty awesome if you ask me. Completed with classic sprites and all those BGM, this is probably a masterpiece.

While certainly, the modification isn’t exactly a completed one (seeing that it only features a single level), and the lack of the classic whip (you get the crowbar instead) makes a little too different from the classic game, it’s still pretty awesome if you’re a fan of Castlevania.

This modification is created by user m0rtanius from Machinima.com, but there are no words if it will actually be expanded into a full modification of some sorts for Half-Life 2.
