Normally, I would post something on April Fool just so for the lulz, whether I did trick someone or not. Well, not this year for I have spent it in an entirely different way.

On April 1st 2009, at 1:28am, a video called “April Fool” appeared on Nico Nico Douga. Normally, one would just think that it’s a gag video, I did too, so no worries~! Instead, a beautiful video accompany the strange title.

April Fool was made by びにゅP, who is really just a pretty average musician that was once invited to perform a duo in NicoVideo. Most of his video brings about a soothing feeling, just as their simple name implies. Sad to say, his most popular video is titled “Charge”, which up till the time I am writing this post, have only reach 4,000 hits and more recently.

His other notable work includes “Piano”, “Sunday” and “Fake Plastic Snow”. But I am not really going those videos here since today’s topic is all about “April Fool”.

Basically, the song is about April Fool’s Day, with a warm, fuzzy feeling full of love~

Think of it this way, when we trick people on April Fool, we actually hope that all of us gets a laugh in the end. A day where everyone have the possibility of producing a smile reserved for that time and let us realize that the world might not be as bad as it is…Or something along that line~

Like a harmless little white lie that bring us closer together…
