Even the Engineer has modified her Sentry gun to match Evangelion!

True, Evangelion 2.0 was epic but it looks like the producers aren’t happy with their final product, as it was indicated by co-director, Kazuya Tsurumaki, that he is currently working on retakes for the DVD release of the movie, Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance.

According to the producers, the DVD is aiming for a release next week. However, which scenes will be retaken has yet to be confirmed, as there wasn’t much revealed information regarding the retake itself.

This is not the first time that the Evangelion movie had featured retaken scenes. The DVD of the first movie, Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone had feature several retaken scenes, and these eventually came up to the release of the Evangelion 1.11 DVD.

Who knows, maybe the second DVD will be named as Evangelion 2.22, following the example of the first DVD?
