The 31th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine will announce the TV adaptation of the hugely popular manga, Fairy Tail. It seems like A1 Pictures will be handling the animation, and Satelight will be heading the project itself.
Created by Hiro Mashima, this particular manga had received quite an amount of attention. Hiro Mashima’s previous projects includes Monster Hunter Orage and Rave manga to name a few.
The plot of Fairy Tail is your typical Shounen style story, although the main character isn’t a male. Lucy Heartfilla, a young sorceress travels to the land of Fiore to join the magical guild called Fairy Tail. On her way, she meets up with Natsu Dragneel, a teenage boy looking for a dragon named Igneel. After an event that has brought both of them closer together, Lucy is accepted into the guild, and together, both of them attempts to tackle various quests together.

The expected date of the anime is unknown, however, I’m sure everyone is patient enough to wait for this particular anime.
And oh, getting a little off-track for now, does anyone else other than me thinks that this particular manga’s art looks a lot like One Piece’s art?
