Recently released on the official site, Seikon no Qwaser’s promotional video is now being streamed in both 1M and 2M bandwidths (2M has better quality).Lasting about 69 seconds in total, the promotional video introduces us to several core characters in the series.
You can check out the 1M bandwidth trailer here, and the 2M bandwidth trailer here. Do note that you’ll need a streaming player, such as Windows Media Player in order to run the file.
The series originated as a manga, which was done by both Hiroyuki Yoshino and Kenetsu Satou. The plot of the series focuses on a private school called the St. Mikhailov Academy and particularly, the character called Aleksander who is a qwaser, or a manipulator of the element of iron. Apparently, all the other students in the school might have some supernatural powers, as it is stated that several other characters are manipulators of several other things.
Amidst all the supernatural action in the series, the series is actually quite heavy on the fanservice side. It is mentioned that the series has a heavy emphasis on fanservice, as well as going to the lengths of adding breast milk as plot device. I’ve got no idea how breast milk plays a significant role in anything, but if it’s inside, I guess it should be related to something…
However, setting that aside, the trailer actually looks pretty good. The anime will premier this January (which means 2010) and an uncensored promotional trailer was actually released via a DVD through a magazine. If you’re interested, you can hop over to this site and check out the uncensored scene caps.
