Fate Stay Night will be receiving an animated movie adaptation, as stated by the September issue of the Newtype magazine.

Fate Stay Night has a total of 3 different stories, namely, Fate, Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven’s Feel. All these three storyline focuses on different characters in the story, therefore it’s a totally different experience while go through the whole series on different story.

The movie is a completely new work that will focus on the Unlimited Blade Works part of the Fate Stay Night storyline. A teaser website has already confirmed that the movie is coming out and that the movie will be based off Unlimited Blade Works.

Other than that, the movie will be worked on by the same studio that had worked on the anime, Studio DEEN. The staff and seiyuus involved in the anime are also returning to work on the movie.

The movie is also stated to be released across Japan in 12 different theaters on 23th January 2010.

A movie based off Tosaka Rin? Mmhmm.
