Final Fantasy 13 Might Still Go To Japan’s Xbox 360

Final Fantasy 13, on the NTSC-J region!

Almost a whole year after it’s release on the PS3, it may seems like Final Fantasy 13 is finally arriving on the Xbox 360 version for Japan. As revealed by a leak of the upcoming issue of Japanese Dengeki Magazine somewhat confirms that a Japan region of the Final Fantasy will be making it’s way to the Xbox 360 console.

According to the leak (or image), it is mentioned that the upcoming of FF13 for 360 will feature English voice actors, leading to the conclusion that the release is somewhat of a re-release of the international version. It wouldn’t just be a direct re-release game will be receiving some minor new features, with one being a new easy difficulty mode. It is also mentioned that the first print of the Xbox 360 version will feature a booklet packed with unseen event scenes, visual art and a novel. There are more features being planned, although no details has been given.

The re-release version of the Xbox 360 version of FF13 is slated to be released on 16th December 2010.

While this is certainly good news for those who owns a NTSC-J Xbox 360 console, one would still why Square Enix is working on a FF13 release for the Xbox 360. Although it has been quite sometime since the release of the PS3 version, FF13 isn’t exactly extremely well-received (in terms of reviews) and that might put off several people. Not only that, the Xbox 360 isn’t exactly a popular console in Japan, which isn’t exactly the best of methods for SE to rake in money, even if their intention was to grab some money off the Xbox 360 consoles…
