Final Fantasy 13’s Huge Advertisement, Hints At Huge E3 Appearance

ff13_1_090522001

It’s not a joke when Square Enix president Yoichi Wada had said that they are planning to bring the English version of FF13 to the shores of the western community sooner. As a recent statement on the Square Enix Members Only site, it would seem that Los Angeles is getting a lot of attention as giant sized billboards are appearing.

With E3 around the corner, and the supposedly promised release date of somewhere in 2010, it might just mean that FF13 will be making a big appearance during E3. According to the Member’s blog, Square Enix had been working day and night just to prepare for E3.

Traditionally for all the games from Square Enix thus far, the US version of the game would be released half a year after it’s Japanese counterpart, and a year later for the Europeans. With the announcement of a 2010 release date, it might just mean that everyone in the world will be playing FF13 somewhere in 2010.

GTA is a thing of the past! FF rulz ur soxs!

If you’re interested to see the billboard itself, and you happen to be at Los Angeles, you can head down to the corner of S. Figueroa Street and Olympic Boulevard in Downtown Los Angeles, and look up.

Now I really wish I can be at E3.

Wow…If it’s REALLY coming 2010 I don’t know what I’ll do. I’ll have to buy extra underwear or something.
