Final Fantasy XIV Announced!

ff14

Final Fantasy 14 is announced. And yet Final Fantasy 13 has yet to arrive onto our shelves. What does this mean?

Well, it actually means that FF14 is an online game! First announced at E3, everyone was caught off-guard as no one had really expected another Final Fantasy to come out, much less before the release of FF13. However, this is true and FF14 will be released on the PS3 as well as the PC as an online game.

Featuring some of the best graphics ever in an MMO (as seen in the trailer below), FF14 will probably be an interest to those who loves MMORPG games, especially if they are a FF fan. The first Final Fantasy MMO was FF11, and it had gathered quite a community playing, although the game itself is rather tedious as leveling up takes ages, and it’s possible to level down too.

Either way, without further ado, check out the trailer after the break, courtesy of Joystiq.
