Gundams with Glowy Effects are always cool.
Fans of Gundams, rejoice! Yet another Gundam series is going to be adapted into an anime, and will be expected to hit the Japan TV broadcasting stations this winter!
Gundam Unicorn is probably one of the least known Gundam series out there, as the recently SEED series and Double ‘O’ series has taken the center stage. Gundam Unicorn is originally a series of novels, loosely based on the original Gundam series, which has taken the world by storm at April 1979.
It is said that the anime adaptation will follow closely to the character designs of the original novels, and the mechas featured will be loosely inspired by Kunio Okawara’s work, whom is famous for his own designs of the mechas from the start of the Gundam series.
Gundam Unicorn takes place in the same timeline as the original Gundam series. Only 3 years after from the events of Char’s Counterattack, which is the last anime to feature both Amuro and Char of the first Gundam series.
Now, I wonder if it is gonna be aired on major TV stations or will it be released in digital format. Regardless of the case, I’m sure many Gundam fans will rejoice, since this is indeed a rare gem.
I heard that the design of the Unicorn Gundam is extremely complicated…
