Hidamari Sketch — Special Edition Announced!

080401_02

Popular slice-of-life and comedy series, Hidamari Sketch is seemingly to be getting a Special Edition. Productions are underway, but not much details has been said thus far.

Hidamari Sketch has been adapted into 2 seasons of anime, the first being Hidamari Sketch — containing 2 special episodes — , and the second being Hidamari Sketch x365 — containing an unaired special episode exclusive to the DVD only.

Hidamari Sketch is a nice anime to say to least, but the art-style from Shaft has slightly ruined it for me. While I did watch Hidamari Sketch, but I wasn’t able to continue it past the halfway mark in the second season.

However, regardless, Miyako is <3!

Actually, I understand what you mean. But SHAFT has a tendency to draw some really ridiculous art, such as the several wallpaper sections (just a weird pattern picture on screen) where the characters had conversed.

There’s also something that I’ve remembered that I dislike, I think it was in the first season, where there was this thing where Yuno was in some kind of clock tower (?), there was something I just hate about that scene xD.

    FFFFFFFFFFFFFF

The art style of the animu is what made it stand out among the rest of its genre. I would’ve hate it if Hidamari Sketch was sold based solely on hype like anything shat out by KyoAni.
