K-On! — Moe, moe. KYUN! Episode 4 @ NotCliche

And the girls are off to the beach!

Summer vacation is around the corner for the members of the K-On!

With the summer vacation nearing the members, Mio suggested that they should organize some sort of training session, where there will be nothing, except concentrating on playing their respective instruments. Since the School Cultural Festival will be after the Summer Vacation, and upon hearing the previous Light Music Club’s live recording, Mio had decided that they should go for a live too, during the Cultural Festival.

That can be… so wrong.

Tsumugi came in just in time while they were having a discussion, and when the party asks if Tsumugi has a villa of her own, she quickly offered them the place, saying that it was her dream to be with everyone (WHAT?).

After a couple of problems on the way down, such as Yui oversleeping, they finally arrived at the villa, and was surprised at the massive size of the villa. Tsumugi, however, commented that she couldn’t get any bigger villas, and was only able to get the smallest villas for the club’s use.

Although Mio had training in mind, Ritsu and Yui doesn’t have the slightest thought about training, as they both started to goof off, mostly to their own enjoyment. Mio, however, doesn’t want to miss out the fun, and decides to join them in their fun, as Tsumugi tells her not to worry about the fact that the previous members were better than the current members, since Tsumugi has confidence that they’ll do much better than the previous members.

Mio doesn’t want to lose!

After playing, teasing, and even a little comparison between each other’s bust size, the day is over, and Mio realises that they haven’t done any practice at all. With the night still young, Mio decides that they should start practising at night. However, Ritsu and Yui aren’t willing to do any practice, as they are both worn out.

After a few unsuccessful tries to get Ritsu and Yui motivated, they decided that they should practise tomorrow. The day after, Yui impresses Mio with her awesome guitar skills that are magically picked up (not really, but it’s really how magical she got her skills that fast), complete with fireworks, even though if they were short.

Now, wouldn’t you want to be that green bolster?

With the summer vacation that has finally came to an end, and Ritsu getting strangled by Mio due to a certain photo, the K-On members sets out towards their goal, to finally play at Budoken!

Other than the massive swimsuit fest that there is in this episode (c’mon, every summer vaction episode has always been about swimsuits!), we get to see how much Yui have improved in her guitar, which is actually quite impressive if you ask me.

They said happy people always works their best.

During the start of the episode, she couldn’t even play the guitar properly, and by the time that they reached Tsumugi’s villa, she already knows how to play the guitar well! Oh, magical moments that happens in animes.

On another note, I never knew Ritsu was so… flat. Even Yui has more oomph than she does! I would think Tsumugi probably has the most assests out of them four. Mio definitely comes a close second.

Kyun!

The more I watch K-On, the more I see the resemblance of Kagami from Lucky Star to Mio. I mean, seriously, how can’t those be not alike? Mio and Kagami are the very manifest of the word tsundere themselves! The maid Mio that appears in the episode is definitely similar to the one that appeared on Kagami!
