Ritsu beaaaaaaaaaaaamu!!

Episode 5 has to be funniest I’ve ever seen thus far, no contest. Loaded with lots of cute art, even a tragic (?!) past, what’s there not to like about K-ON?!

The more I watch K-On, the more I pity Mio for some reasons. I know everyone likes Mio because of a certain moe factor, but I can’t help but to think that she is overly scared at times. Yes, yes, she is mature like Mugi, but I really think that she is just… well, you know.

I find this scene extremely cute for some reason.

Yui still remains at my top list amongst the K-On characters though. I just find her a lot more likable than the other characters! Ritsu and Mugi are great and all, but Yui is just too plain awesome!

Episode 5 revolves around the girls whom have found out that their club wasn’t officially listed in the school, due to a certain club president goofing around. When they were finally “registering” their club, they found out that every single club requires an advisor to go along with it, and unfortunately, the Light Music Club doesn’t have any!

After stalking (or something like that) Sawako-sensei for awhile, the girls managed to blackmail (I swear, Ritsu is a master of blackmailing) Sawako-sensei into being their advisor. To Sawako’s dismay, the club had decided to go into the Cultural Event without having any vocalist ready!

Since Mio is too embarassed to sing, Mugi too busy with the Keyboard, the Drummer (Ritsu) definitely can’t be the one singing, the job falls onto Yui, who delivers catastrophic results because she can only concentrate on doing one thing at a time. Sawako-sensei sees this, and intends to put Yui through a series of hard training, so that Yui can sing and play the guitar at the same time!

Genius. Genius!

However, after one whole week of training, Yui returns to the club with refined skills, but an unrefined voice due to overtraining. Guess who gets the role? Yep, that’s right! Mio is going to sing for us in the next episode!

On another note, I know, I know. I’m extremely late with my episodics. Have been busy with all the other news you’ve seen on the blog. Either way, I’ll try to get back up to speed ASAP!
