Actually, you don’t have to answer any of these, because the upcoming up album is simply too amazing. It’s like a gift from the gods.

Seriously.

The upcoming album is titled as “K-ON! Official Band Yaro yo! which is roughly translated as Official K-ON! Let’s Create A Band!

What’s so special about this album that sets itself from the rest? It’s simple, really. This particular album can be considered as one of the biggest album to be ever released as it features a collection of theme songs, background music and even a 164-page band score book that contains exclusive manga strips from the original creator himself.

The album will contain about a total of 109 musical tracks, although a vast majority of them are background music. Included in the 109 different tracks are the opening, ending and insert songs of the anime, with a twist. Instead of the regular 4-person band playing it, the ones that are included in the album will be the full 5-person band. You know what this means, guys!

For the fans that plays musical instruments, the album includes 6 different variants of Cagayake! GIRLS, with each version focusing on different instruments. For example, if you’re a guitarist and you would want to play the opening by yourself, the album includes a particular track that has the vocals and guitar channels removed. This means that you can probably sing and play your guitar, while the music track “plays” the other parts of the song for you.

Not only that, the album will also come with several sheet music for nine of the theme songs and original numbers, as supervised by real-life musicians who had played and written these music. Now you wouldn’t need to think about which notes to play or even search on the internet for the score sheet; the guys who compiled this album has done it for you.

If you’re lazy to look at the whole chunk of text, here’s a brief run down on what you’ll get from this album:

1. 109 different sound tracks, ranging from theme songs to background music.
2. a 164-page band score book with exclusive manga panels from the original creator.
3. a “bandified” version of the songs, where fans could play the respective “muted” instrument along with the rest of the “unmuted” instruments. vocals are also removed so that fans can sing along with the song.
   
4. music score sheets that is written/supervised by real-life musicians who had performed the songs.

The album will be released in Japan on the 2nd of September. Till then, you guys can probably dream/draft up how you’ll do with the album once you’ve got your hands on it!

No word on the pricing for the album, but I assume that it’s >9000 yen.
