It has been ages since Kiddy Grade was first aired. Don’t you think it’s about time for a sequel of some sort?
While the original characters of Kiddy Grade is not known if they are going to have an appearance at all due to time difference, Kiddy Girl-and is actually more of a spin-off rather than a direct sequel for Kiddy Grade which is set to be aired this 15th October. Recently, Kadokawa Shoten has posted three different commercials for Kiddy Girl-and which ranges from 15 seconds to 30 seconds. You can view the commercials at the end of the post.
Like the orginal Kiddy Grade, the spin-off will take place 20 years after the original events of Kiddy Grade. The story follows training of two characters named Ascoeur and Q-feuille who works for the ES’s department of the galactic government called GTO.
To be honest, I’ve not watched much of Kiddy Grade at all. While I’ve downloaded the entire first season, I just didn’t manage to pick it up and watch it, although I still remember that there was lots of pantsu shots at the first episode. Maybe I should give this spin-off a try and watch Kiddy Grade after that…
