King Of Fighter Sky Stage XBLA Pushed Back

It has been a long, long time since we ever heard news of KOF: Sky Stage and the latest news just proves to be a hell load disappointing. Announced back somewhere in 2009, SNK had decided to bring their fighting game: King of Fighter to the shoot ‘em up platform.

Called Sky Stage, player can control several major character from the King of Fighter series and “pilot” them through several stages of the famous bullet-hell of shoot ‘em up games. Although the game was first announced for Xbox Live Arcade, the game was then moved to the arcades with the XBLA version still in development.

Unfortunately, after a long absence of news for XBLA’s Sky Stage, the latest XBLA release list pushes the release of Sky Stage XBLA from Summer to Fall. Fans of both shoot ‘em up and King of Fighter would have to wait a little longer and no reasons were mention regarding the push back.

More than a year now since it’s announcement! Wonder how long more SNK will take to get this game onto the platform that it has been announced on…
