You might be able to create this on the DSi!

If you’ve got a DSi on hands and is an inspiring artist, but you’ve got no idea how to start off your journey, you just might want to give yourself a hand on this fancy DSiWare Program.

The DSiWare application, Egokoro Kyoshitsu, or translated as Painting Classroom promises to teach players how to draw or paint. In each part of the application (the app is separated into 2 parts), players will be able to learn how to draw, sketch, paint, shade and all the other artistic stuffs using their stylus.

Each part of the application focuses on different kinds of drawing. For example, the first part called First Semester will expose players to simpler stuff, such as drawing an apple, a tree or what not. From the Second Semester onwards, players can expect to be drawing more difficult scenery, such as a landscape.

The application will also feature a teacher or some sort, where he will be giving several instructions on which tool or how you’re supposed to go about your drawing. Pretty fanciful!

Completed works can be saved into the player’s gallery, and the application will also be bundled with a free paint mode which basically allow players to draw anything they like. Think of it as the MS Paint that you guys have got in your computer these days.

Egokoro Kyoshitsu will be released on the 18/11 and will set people back for 800 DSiPoints. However, as you can see from the screenshots above, the game’s in Japanese, so a certain degree of Japanese is needed before you can actually learn from the application itself…

You can find the application in the DSiShop on the release date.
