Think Left 4 Dead is fun? Try Left 4 Dead 2 for size.
Yes, the demo for Left 4 Dead 2 will be coming “soon” as Valve had been quoted saying. While the exact date for such a release is yet unknown, at least we know that a demo is gonna arrive to our platforms, which is still a good thing, considering the amount of people who had claimed that Left 4 Dead 2 is gonna turn out as a sucky sequel.
Both the PC and the 360 will be receiving the demo. Those who had pre-ordered the game can get an advanced access to the demo, which means that you can get to enjoy Left 4 Dead 2 a few days earlier than the general public. You can start pre-ordering now at retail outlets near you or you can grab a copy of it off Steam.
A good move by Valve, considering the amount of negative feedbacks that they had received due to the announcement of Left 4 Dead 2 earlier this year. With Left 4 Dead barely a year old, announcing a sequel would be way too early for anyone to take, but this demo might just be able to justify why the additional content of a familiar game will set you back for another $50.

However, you should know that Left 4 Dead 2 is actually doing better than Left 4 Dead 1 in terms of pre-orders as of the moment. The figures goes to as high as two times the first Left 4 Dead’s amount of pre-orders. I seriously doubt Valve is going to have any trouble marketing the game at this rate…
