RUSH FOR THE PRELOADS!
If you’re waiting for a chance to play L4D2 before you decide if it’s worth your money, you might be able to give the demo a try, although it won’t be happening for the general public until a later date.
As you would have known, users who had pre-ordered the L4D2 will gain access to an early demo of the game, which will happen on the 27th of October, on a Tuesday. That means about 3-4 days of waiting for those who had bought the game first. Those who are still on the fence thinking if they should buy L4D2 will be given the chance at a later date, although there is no announcement for that yet.
The early access will be extended to both L4D2 platforms, PC and Xbox 360. So, go ahead and load it up on your own consoles or rig and wait for the demo to be unlocked, as you stare at the program, knowing that it’s so close, yet so far!
Come to think of it, isn’t it ironic that pre-orders gets the demo faster than the general public? Demos are a way to allow people to evaluate the game before they actually purchase, but if you had pre-ordered the game already, why would you need to “evaluate” it? Hmm!
