I wonder if the 4 times is actually means them…
The boycott has failed. And Left 4 Dead 2 has risen from what it supposedly to be the “most boycotted” game in Valve’s history, to be one of the most pre-ordered game in Valve’s history.
In an interview with CVG, Chet Faliszek had revealed that the pre-orders numbers for Left 4 Dead 2 has far exceeded the amounts that they had received for the first game. Yep, that amount has quadrupled since the first game and he believes that people are just getting more and more excited about Left 4 Dead 2 itself.
With the boycott now disbanded and many people are giving Left 4 Dead 2 a second chance now, it seems that Left 4 Dead 2 will be one of the greatest success Valve will have since the introduction of Team Fortress 2. Now with all the problems gone, people can officially start to bask in all the glorious zombie-killings that awaits them.
Undoubtedly though, there are still people who would hate L4D2 simply because it is way too early for a sequel to come out. But L4D2 has held itself out as a respectable title worthy of your fifty bucks, so you might as well give the demo a try when it does come out, don’t you think?
Left 4 Dead 2 will be released worldwide (maybe except Australia, since they are getting a censored one) this 14th November. Not too far off now.
