Adding yet another bizzare crime case to the massive pile of bizzare cases is this particular gentlemen called Toshikazu Satono. The 33 years old teacher of Kumamoto Technical has been arrested for trespassing on Thursday, after he had allegedly forced his way into a male student’s apartment and had locked himself in there for almost 2 hours.
Both the student and the teacher had not known each other before. It seems that Satono and apparently appeared at the doorsteps of a 23 years old post-graduate student’s apartment and had asked the student to allow him to hide in his apartment. Satono then proceed to lock himself up in the student’s toilet.
Of course, when someone hides in your toilet for over 1 hour, you know something is wrong. Satono had refused to leave the toilet until the student called the police after a good 1 hour and 40 minutes. The police arrived at the scene and Satono finally came out of the toilet and was arrested on the spot.
Shuji Okamura, a colleague of Satono’s says that he is extremely surprised at the news. He had quoted that Satono is an extremely hardworking teacher and is popular with students in school.
Why did Satono hide in the student’s apartment is still a mystery, although people had speculated that the police should pay a visit to his house, just in case something had went terribly wrong.
But hiding in a toilet of all places? I’m sure there are plenty of better places to hide… at least don’t inconvience the poor student who might want to use the toilet when you’re hiding in it…
