About a few months ago, there had been information stating that there would be a Metal Gear Arcade running around. Although I’ve been skeptical about how the whole arcade will turn out, as Konami hasn’t been really well-known for their arcade ventures. However, it seems that Konami has it well covered…
At least, for those that doesn’t have Playstation 3.
Basically, Metal Gear Arcade is simply just a clone of the online component of Metal Gear Solid 4. While this isn’t exactly new stuff for those that had played Metal Gear Solid 4 before, it’s actually quite a nice game for both old and new players to try.
What this arcade features is a sort of 3D goggles or something like that. This will allow yourself to be “fully immersed” in the game itself. From what the debut trailer had shown, it looks like a pretty solid game to play. I would probably give this machine a try if it were available in Singapore…
However, that would not be realized anytime soon, as Metal Gear Arcade is slated for Japan somewhere in 2009, and other places have yet to receive news about receiving these machines.
