Microsoft Boasts: “Halo: Reach Will Be The Biggest Game In 2010″

We aren’t exactly done with the year 2009, but it seems that Microsoft has some pretty slick prediction device that says that the game, Halo: Reach, will be taking the world by storm (much like how Modern Warfare 2 did) when the game gets released next year.

The year 2010 will play host to several triple A title games ever made. Games such as Starcraft 2, Final Fantasy 13 for the international community, God of War 3 and many others will be making their appearance in the same year as Halo: Reach.

However, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg is convinced that Halo: Reach will be the biggest game in the whole of 2010, and the others games to be released in 2010, although are great games to start out with, will not be able to compete with Halo: Reach as Greenberg believes that the Halo: Reach will be the biggest game of 2010.

I don’t know about you, but I’m sure FF13 and Starcraft 2 would take a considerable chunk of players into their own little community, and that would severely “hurt” the title of “biggest game in 2010″ for Halo: Reach.

If anything, Halo 3: ODST might be a true representative of the direction the Halo series is going. True, Halo might be popular, but it’s old. Maybe a little too old for it’s own good…
