Do let her sing for you!
It seems like Crypton finally released Miku’s [Append] Series to the public, with some surprises too.
To be officially out on April 30th, a day before May. It seems like April is a good month for 2010, for I can get my BRS-BB then too, if Good Smile doesn’t delay it.
While you can preorder it on Amazon now, so they say…The new voicebank is currently not available in Amazon, but you can let them notify you when a set price is announced.
Read more inside!
I am pretty sure that most of you readers already knew [Append Dark] and [Append Soft], with some of you knowing about [Append Vivid]. But wait, there is more! The [Append] Series contain five different mood of voice instead of three. Well, maybe it isn’t that much of a news for those that actually followed the Nico Charts daily…*Mumbles*
The additional two moods are [Append Solid] and [Append Sweet]. And no, there is no Solid Snake here, get out of here, now!
Although the demo for all five moods are long out, with the recent one last Wednesday, I still have no idea for how [Append Solid] truly sounds. I have more or less guess how [Append Sweet] sounds like with the help of demo 1 and demo 3 on Crypton’s site.
This is what I think of all the [Append] Series.
[Append Dark] sounds like an improvised version of Yowane Haku, which originates from Miku’s voicebank, but without the monotone.
[Append Soft] sounds like the original voicebank at higher pitch, and more like a child.
[Append Vivid] sounds like an overall better [Append Soft] and generally cheerful.
[Append Sweet] sounds like a maternal Miku, and I find this the best of all five, but time will tell…
And well…God knows [Append Solid], I can’t even tell from the demo that well, as they are all mixes of each Append.
Well, I am going to get this, and so would most of the people on Nico Nico Douga. And that’s it for now, I be buzzing over Project Diva 2nd later or Netto will be onto me, again…
