Following minori’s examples, it seems like more and more eroge companies are coming down hard on foreigners, as more and more companies are starting to block off foreign access to their countries.
Starting with minori, companies VisualArt Visual Antenna and yuzusoft seems to have blocked foreign access to their sites. VisualArt is compromised of several sites, however, only Visual Antenna has been blocked thus far.
3 companies have done this thus far, although we can see where this is heading to. As long as the foreign world (like some group) continues to attack Japan’s eroge industry, we may just see total isolation of eroge industry from the world. Although it is still possible to get them yourself by going to Japan (unless they isolate themselves from us), how many people would actually take a plane down to Japan to grab a few eroges?
Visual Antenna has left us with an extremely simple, but heavy message. I’m sure you guys understand the gravity of this message:
PLEASE PLAY THE GAME OF YOUR COUNTRY IF YOU PRAY FOR THE WORLD PEACE!:-)」
“…pray for the world peace!” indeed. That says a lot about how they’re thinking right now.
yuzusoft, on the other hand, gave us the best kind of shun ever. 403 Forbidden. That’s all! Using the default template to tell us that we can’t access! How straight and forward!
Via: Canned Dogs.
There’s also another message from minori, but I think it’s rather inapproriate for me to stick it with all the bad news, so I’ll leave it for another post.
