Nagoya Policemen: “Fight Purse Snatchers By Dressing Up In Drag!”

Maybe they would have more success dressing up as Jun?

There are many ways one can fight crimes. Like educating the general public on how important it is to protect one’s belongings, or even be more alert for others around you. However, it seems that the officers in Japan have yet another great idea to nab would-be purse snatchers.

Apparently, it seems that the officers from the Nagoya Prefecture are employing a new kind of tactic in the bid to successfully nab purse snatchers, a common problem anywhere in the world. The squad which consists about 4 men in total have been patrolling around the streets of Nagoya since last month in all sorts of female clothing that ranges from short skirts to stockings and other apparels that females would usually wear.

How did they pass off as females then? According to official information, these men are about 160cm in height and they are all expertly trained in at least one form or another of martial arts. And the disguise seems to be pretty effective, as one of the officer in the squad had been quoted saying that he had “panicked” when a male driver actually propositioned to him from his own car.

Whoever that might want to try to take on them would probably get the nastiest and scariest surprise in their whole entire life.

However, the tactic isn’t exactly successful as of now. Since the employment of the tactic about a month ago, the squad has yet to nab a single purse snatcher. Either Nagoya is a pretty peaceful place, or purse snatchers are smart enough not to fall for their “traptastic” trick. Who knows!
