Yes, this! This particular bookmark that was made from from the 35mm film reels of the movie (the Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi) actually fetch over 350,000 yen in Yahoo! Auctions! As ridiculous as it sounds, this is probably one of the most expensive collectible ever happened in the Haruhi series!
Apparently, only a lucky person who had watched the movie at least two times will be able to redeem this bookmark. Featuring a Kyon somewhat assaulting a poor Yuki, this particular bookmark that is made from the 35mm film reels of the movie is passed one to a random person who had watched the movie twice that dates before 27th of February.
While there are many other such bookmarks out there, it looks like the one that contains the key scene between Kyon and Yuki is the one that fetches the highest price. Not surprising, seeing that Yuki is the main character of the whole Disappearance arc after all.
But even if Yuki’s shyness is all the rage right now, it looks like Fate’s smile is still the clear winner. Over 500,000 yen for a single film strip! Wonder if “money can’t buy you happiness” still stands now…
And if anyone wants a Yuki Nagato smile, you might want to kindly place a bid at this Yahoo! Auctions link. Requires to have an account to login!
