PSP-Go First Images Leaked!

pspgohirez580

PSP-Go’s first images have made it onto the internet, and to be honest, it looks a little different from what I’ve expected. Earlier today, there had been a video circulating around the internet regarding the upcoming PSP-Go.

The video, which is done by Qore, had revealed some details about the PSP-Go itself. The design is quite similar to what we might have thought of, as you can see in the bottom of the post later. It is said that the PSP-Go will feature some pretty neat things, such as 16GB worth of inbuilt memory, memory slot for expanded memory and even Bluetooth capabilities. The controls, however, doesn’t seem to look any better, especially true for the analog part.

Sony officials have also stated that the platform will have some popular games at launch with it. Games such as a new Metal Gear Solid will be released amongst the others that were previously announced.

It is also said that the PSP-Go will not replace the PSP-3000, which is the latest in the market for the PSP series. It would seem that the PSP-Go is another completely different PSP, therefore it’s not exactly a PSP2, but rather is another PSP. It would seem like PSP-Go will be an extremely portable PSP in comparison to what we have now, but I doubt it’s processing powers would rival the PSP1 anytime soon.

Maybe the PSP-Go is an iPod rival?

You can check out more shots of the PSP-Go and the interview done by Qore after the break.
