Remember them?

All Lucky Star viewers should’ve at least seen these two characters in the anime for at least two times already. Not much information has been known about them though. What’s so special about them anyway?

While, certainly, these characters aren’t exactly special, since they don’t have any super powers or anything of the sorts, these two characters are actually part of the whole Lucky Star series.

If you’ve read the manga, you’ll notice that these two sometimes comes with Akira in some of the “special episodes” at the end of the manga of each volume.

These two characters has also made an appearance in the both games of Lucky Star on the DS. But, who exactly are they?

The blue haired is called Hikage Miyakawa, and the pink haired is called Hinata Miyakawa. Then again, what’s about them that is worthy of mention?

Well, with the ending of Lucky Star as a manga and anime, fans would probably not find anymore fresh Lucky Star materials. Probably doujin works and stuff, but that wouldn’t be from the original author himself, wouldn’t it?

Still remember the article stating that a new manga will be coming from Kagami Yoshimizu? Here it is.

This new manga will be a 4-koma, titled Miyakawa-ke no Kufuku. As the word Miyakawa-ke has suggested, it will be centered on the two sisters.

Although it’s not exactly awesome news, but fans can probably think that this is a follow up on Lucky Star. It’s still not sure if the original cast will be making an appearance on the upcoming manga though. It’ll certainly be a plus if they made an appearance!
