It seem like Miku isn’t the only getting a new makeover, as Crypton have hopes of releasing the [Append] Series upgrade for the Kagamine twins. Hopefully, the rest of the Crypton Series Vocaloids won’t miss out on such upgrade.<

Pretty much thanks to drhaniwaou of the Vocaloid Otaku Network Community for alerting me of this piece of information.

According to what was stated, it seems like the Kagamine twins [Append] Series project was started in early Summer 2009, and recently, they just finish recording part of Len’s makeover and are still in the middle of sorting out Rin’s new voicebank.

With the more recent twitter updates, it seems like Crypton is dead set on releasing the [Append] Series upgrade for Rin and Len in Spring 2010. And most likely as with Miku’s new makeover, you would have to purchase the twin’s new voicebank as a new product.
