Ryukishi07′s Ōkamikakushi Anime Adaptation Announced!

Remember that game that was being developed by both Ryukishi07 and Peach-Pit? You know, “Ōkamikakushi“? Yeah, that particular game that had just been released a few days ago on the PlayStation Portable.

Apparently, TBS Anime Festa 2009 had recently announced that this particular game will be receiving an anime adaptation. While the anime has been announced, nothing’s clear at this point of time as not much details about the anime had been released yet.

The plot focuses around 10 different stories that are closely related. However, other than that, not much details had been released as of yet, although those who are playing the game would have a clearer idea on how the story would be.

Like the previous few works that Ryukishi07 had done, we can probably expect the same kind of genre that we had seen from Higurashi and Umineko. Ryukishi07, after all, is famous for all of these anyway.

It’s a little old, but here’s the so-called plot which was gotten from the teaser website a few months;

Is it a god (kami)? Or a wolf (ōkami)?
A secret law in the old part of town … brings together dread and mystery.
It is the summer of 1983. 10 stories, intertwined by the idle thoughts of people caught in repeating nightmares … what could possibly be the truth therein!?
