Sora no Woto’s Preview Trailer Streamed!

The official website of Sora no Woto has recently update itself with a 30-seconds video which roughly introduces us to how the setting and anime will be like.

Sora no Woto follows the story of Kanata Kumika, whom fulfills her dreams by enlisting into the army. Set in the future where the land was devastated by long-lasting wars, the world has finally come to a peaceful decline. Kanata Kumika is then assigned to a group of 5 girls, as they are tasked to defend a fortress. The girls play music that reverberate across the skies over towns without people and seas without fish.

The series itself will be making it’s debut next year, as part of the Winter anime listing. Starting on the 4th January, this is one anime that many people should not miss.

Judging from the video itself, it seems that it would be a rather light hearted anime, despite the military settings. Sora no Woto is actually an original anime production, and the art style in the anime seems to resemble K-ON’s art style in many ways, despite being animated by a completely different studio! I

Sora no Woto has also received a manga adaptation earlier last month.

If you’re interested, you can view the video here. There’s also a two-minutes plus trailer, which was released a couple of months back. You can view the trailer located at this link. It’s a little sad that the latest video is only 30 seconds, but I guess it’s better than nothing, right?
