No. Don’t worry PS3 people as Namco wouldn’t be pulling off the “port-the-game-to-another-console” kind of thing as they did to the Xbox 360 owners.
Tales of Grace is set for the Nintendo Wii, and it looks like they will get a little treat to what they might have missed out on with Tales of Vesperia.
Recently announced by Namco Bandai, Tales of Graces preorders will be rewarded with Tales of Vesperia goodies, or more specifically, Tales of Vesperia costumes for the characters in the game. There’s also another item coming along with the preorder version; a DVD that will contain several special stuff which includes the game’s voice actors. Not much information about the DVD has been released, so keep a look out as more details surfaces.

The three characters (Aspel, Sophie and Cheria) that are available in Tales of Graces will be able to don on the costumes of Yuri, Patty and Rita respectively with the preorder special. The costumes will be available through a download code and once downloaded, the costumes can be used in both in and out of battle. Much like the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia which had gotten Tales of the Abyss costume treatment.
While Tales of Graces is setting for a lower-end console such as the Nintendo Wii, it’s actually pretty impressive as of now. You can check out some of the game’s video at this link.
Tales of Graces will be arriving at Japanese stores this 10th of December. It is also confirmed that there will be a bundle to promote both the game and console, so it might be a plus factor for anyone who loves Tales and is on the fence about getting a Wii or not.
