Yesterday night, my pedophi honorable friend from Japan started a chat with me about upcoming vocaloid albums and how September fails to meet his expectation. Soon, we slowly drifted towards [Project Diva] and or whatever is related to it. And that’s when we hit [Project DXXX], a fan made version of [Project Diva].

Yes, this is a fan made version of Project Diva designed for the PC!

The original name of one such project is called [Project V.Mania], which was thought up by the tireless 2channers somewhere in August due to the constant net whining of how easy Project Diva was and or how they cannot play the music they included themselves.

However, judging by the title of the video, I cannot confirm if it was indeed the same person that started the topic in 2chan. Likewise, it could be something similar to [Project V.Mania], and clearly as of now, I think it is safe to call it [Project DXXX]. Thanks to my informant [スチームとげ], this wonderful news was brought to my attention.

For those that have not take a look at the video, I recommend you do so. But for those truly lazy and or doesn’t care about video streaming…

In this fan version of [Project Diva], the gameplay is similar to the original but with more buttons and is specially designed for PC. You are also able to edit songs and or add in new songs and where you want to position the keys and how fast they go.

Sadly, there is no changing of any of Miku’s costume or permanent Vocaloid on screen, as everything is based on the PV/Music/Whatever itself. As such, there will definitely be no such thing as Miku’s Room.

Well, all we can do now is pray that this isn’t some sort of joke and is in fact, real. Hopefully, the creator of this wonderful idea would release it ASAP, for I don’t think most of us can wait for it.
