Following the ending of To Love-Ru, the December issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine had announced that the illustrator of To Love-Ru will be working on yet another manga, which is yet to be titled.
As many would have known (and probably hated), the ending of To Love-Ru’s manga happened at around 31th August. However, this doesn’t signify that we wouldn’t be seeing anymore works from Kentaro Yabuki anymore, as he had announced that he will be working on yet another manga series, although that has yet to be named. It is also stated that the series will be running in the February issue of Jump Square next year, so we’ll probably see light on the series’s name and plot in a few months or so.
Here’s a fun fact. According to a trend done by the Shonen Jump artists, each time a new series is announced, it usually takes one year or longer for the next series to come up. But Kentaro Yabuki is seemingly breaking the trend, seeing that he has little than half a year to work on a completely new series… I really do wonder how it’ll turn out.
