To Love-Ru’s Yabuki Confirmed Working For Mayoi Neko Overrun!

Remembered back last month, the mangaka for To Love-Ru, Kentaro Yabuki, had announced that he will be working on a new series? It seems that the new series is actually an existing series called Mayoi Neko Overrun!

The news was confirmed by Circle K and Sunkus convenience stores via an unreleased image for a promotional campaign. Apparently, Yabuki will be working on the existing light novel series, Mayoi Neko Overrun! as his next project.

Mayoi Neko Overrun! had recently received an anime and manga adaptation announcement back last month, but there was barely any information pertaining to that. However, despite the announcement of the artist who will be working on the manga series, the anime series has little to no information as of now.

The story of Mayoi Neko Overun revolves around Takumi Tsuzuki who happens to be living with his sister-in-law called Otome and together, both of them runs a confectionery store called Stray Cats. However, one day, Otome brings home a runaway girl named Kiriya Nozomi, who gradually opens up her mind to the world as she works as a pâtissière at the store.
