The website of Gpara.com has recently updated itself with a 158-seconds video of the opening for the upcoming MMORPG for the series for The Tower of Druaga. True to it’s anime series, the opening movie is yet again animated by the now downsized Gonzo.
Titled as The Tower of Druaga: The Recovery of BABYLIM, the MMORPG is set in the aftermath of the events of the anime. After the defeat of Druaga, Gil, Ki and other adventurers of Babylim finds themselves facing the mysterious restoration of the Tower of Druaga.

Conversion of animes and games into a MMORPG is not an uncommon sight in Japan, but the success rates of each game varies from each other by a huge difference. Take Tales of Eternia for example, which has shortly closed after it’s official launch due to dwindling interest. The Tower of Druaga has a long history behind it (all the way back to 1984 in the arcades), but it’s really only the first game that had made any kind of impact.
