Still remember the days where you owned a Gameboy Color and were spending the better part of your day playing Pokemon Gold and Silver? Maybe you would remember going out to your friend’s house just to have a LinkCable battle or simply some Pokemon trading?
Yeah, Pokemon has been in our lives for almost a decade now, and it’s no wonder that the newest remakes of the classic Pokemon Gold and Silver has receive attention that would have made all other games out there in the market jealous.
The charts at Media Create Charts had shown that the remake of Pokemon Gold and Silver, Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver respectively had broken a million sales in just two days. A total of 1,442,990 copies of the two games were sold, where both of them have received quite an equal amount of attention, as Heart Gold has racked in 720k copies, while Soul Silver has racked in an impressive 722k copies. This shouldn’t come much as a surprise though, seeing that the remakes got sold out after the day it’s released in most stores.
Of course, the charts only represented the sales volume in Japan. After all, the remakes are only available in Japan anyway… although the English community can expect the game coming to their shores early 2010.
