When You Thought Modern Warfare 2 Is New…

Modern Warfare 3 is being placed on the last stages of testing, and will be sent onto the production lines very soon! Onion News Network has it all covered, and you can view it in the video below:

While Modern Warfare 2 might boast awesome graphics and realistic gameplay, it seems that Modern Warfare 3 will out do the previous game in every way possible. Featuring the most realistic military game play ever, players will be put against the world’s deadliest enemies (such as trash-talking) or even have to perform some of the most impossible tasks ever (like repairing vehicles for 10hours straight).

Not only that, Modern Warfare 3 will also be featuring over nine thousand hours worth of game play, which will be more or less sufficient for any kind of gamer in the market.

Modern Warfare 3 does not have an official release date as of now, but you can pretty much find it in your stores… pretty soon.

And oh, in case you didn’t keep up with dates, Modern Warfare 2 is officially out on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and the PC!

(the video’s a joke, by the way.)

But seriously, I WTF’d at many moments in the video. I see where Activision is trying to go with this, and the graphics are really great, but WTF. Where the hell is all the ‘WARFARE’? You sit around for hours on end, having about as much fun and excitement as an IRL army personnel (read: none), you relive your NS days doing cock-up missions, being treated like shit, etc. And OVAR 9000 hours for this kinda gameplay? No thanks. One thing’s for sure, this isn’t for the shallow gamer out there who’s only in it for the enemy-killing.

And what’s with that sequence where you stare into space and get shot in the back?
