Wouldn’t you want one of these for yourself too?
On the wraparound jacket band of the 10th volume of Yuria Hyaku-shiki (translated as Yuri Type-100) manga, it is revealed that the series will be adapted into a video form, although not much information about the video is actually released.
For one, the video adaptation is unknown if it’s going to be a live movie, or if it’s going to be an anime. However, I’m placing my money on anime, since a live movie adaptation for such a manga seems to be rather inapprioriate. There’s also no information about the release format nor there’s any dates being mentioned.
Yuria Hyaku-shiki follows the story of a particular sex robot (or called Dutch Wife/Love Doll in some cases in several manga translations) named Yuria. Yuria’s artificial intelligence is so advanced that she decided to escape from her creator whose original intent of using Yuria as his personal sex slave. Somehow or another, Yuria meets with a college student named Shunsuke Kubo and decides to live with him.
Of course, as Yuria is originally programmed as a sex robot, Yuria usually interpets Shunsuke’s words as those that implied with sexual meanings.
Yuria Hyaku-shiki doesn’t just focus of one single character, as there are many other variants of the Yuria models out there. All of the Yuria models have different personality, ranging from mature ones to loli like ones, although each of them have different owners since they escaped from their creator’s lab.
I’ve read a few chapters of the manga and I must say, it’s pretty hilarious. Worth a read if you’re really interested in this kind of stuff! More information to come as they get released!
