Yuria-100 Love Doll’s Video Adaptation Is Live-Action?!

A comparison between the manga’s Yuria and the live-action’s Yuria.

Either the world has gone crazy, or… actually, I think the world has gone crazy.

Yes, the previous announcement of Yuria Hyaku-Shiki’s video adaptation is confirmed to be a live-action movie instead of an anime that most people had envisioned.

For those who doesn’t know what Yuria Hyaku-Shiki is about, it’s actually about a full self aware sex doll (or love doll for some) whom had escaped from it’s creator to live with another college student. The manga itself is full of sexual jokes as well as some ecchi scene, so it’s really a wonder that this particular title would be adapted into a live-action movie.

I would have hoped for OVA for the series, but it seems that the producers thinks that it’s better for them to use real women in these kind of ecchi scenes. It’s also confirmed that Yuria Type 100 will be played by adult video actress Fujii Shelly. It is, however, unknown if any other of the characters that had appeared in the manga will make an appearance in the live-action movie.

But really… a sex comedy manga with ecchi ridden all over it is somewhat a bad idea for a live-action adaptation…

    Whaaaaa?!? What a stupid decision,

    Can’t be a very faithful adaptation if they’re gonna make it live-action. I doubt that whoever plays Shunsuke is going to use bad-ass wrestling moves on her. ;)
