Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo - Episode 2

Another episode of SoraKake, another episode of LEOPARD MAE awesomeness.

This episode, we get to see the opening. The OP song is titled Rara Eve Shinseiki (裸々イヴ新世紀) and is sung by ALI PROJECT.

And is it just me, or does AliPro sound a little different for once?

Wa-wa-wa-wasuremono~

Akiha has a weird dream while asleep, in which a mysterious girl tells her stuff she doesn’t understand.

She is called “The Girl Who Leapt Through Space” (Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo) by the mysterious lady, though no explanation for that phrase is provided yet.

After she wakes up, Kazane comes and tells her that she would delay the marriage. So much for running away eh, Akiha? ^^;

During school, the student council summons Akiha, and, after showing her footage from a surveillance camera, asks what she was doing with an emergency capsule (the light bulb ship).

However, before either party can say anything more, Honoka interrupts, and attacks the student council president (who appears to have some fabulous reflexes).

As for things with the Mystery Department…

The evil officers are choosing to leave it at ‘Leopard was destroyed by missiles’, and orders the Mystery Department to resume normal position.

Of course, the Mystery Department is not finished off so easily! After meeting up with Soldier Ul, Kannagi learns that the brain colony she encountered (Leopard) is a banned article, and that the ICP is trying to hide something.

Back with Akiha-chan.

Honoka leads Akiha (who has been following her) to the back of a building, where she shoots Akiha with Leopard’s Golden Gun (again).

BOOM HEADSHOT

The Girl Who Leapt Through Space is brought back to Leopard, who was about to have some water tea time.

The incomplete king, Leopard, required help from the queen, Akiha to restore his anti-matter cannon LEOPARD CANNON by acquiring the Golden Orb, a magnetic chamber. And so he sends her on an expedition with Honoka.

Honoka takes off her top to put on a “Q-tector”, and we see a strange mark on her back.

Shishidou Akiha!

After getting in their Q-tectors, they head out in their Cutie QT-Arms.

Having destroyed a security droid in the plant containing the Golden Orb, a report was sent to the ICP. Kannagi of the Mystery Department, already close by, also heads off in her QT-Arms.

Shortly upon entry, Kannagi is attacked by Honoka.

Fugly mode is fugly

After Honoka refuses to cease attack, Kannagi retaliates with missles and machine guns.

PEW PEW PEW!

Kannagi makes short work of Honoka with apparent superior firepower.

Further ahead, Akiha has found the Golden Orb.

The Golden Orb.. Looks like a huge street lamp to me

But before she can successfully retrieve the Golden Orb, she is stopped by Kannagi.

Akiha: Where'd my QT-Arms go?!

One interruption after another, Kannagi’s possibly ensuing flood of questions is then suspended by the sudden appearance of Nerval (which I am guessing is its name based on a tip from Honoka).

A challenger appears!!
