Yeah, it’s that time of the year already! CF’09 is coming up guys, and here are the details for this year’s Fiesta:

Comic Fiesta 2009 (CF09)
Date : December 19-20, 2009
Day : Saturday & Sunday
Time : 10 AM ~ 7 PM
Venue : Sunway Convention Center
Entrance Fee : RM25 for 2 days via Pre-Order, RM15 for each day via Ticket Counter @ CF

There’ll be tons of doujinshi booths (artist booths, if you will), and lots of cosplayers. To find out more about the entrance fee/ticketing system, refer to this page.

Thankfully it’s at Sunway Convention Center again this year. ^^;

Comic Fiesta! That is the name of one of Malaysia’s biggest otaku events. Similar to the Japanese Comiket (but on a much, much smaller scale), CF is a place for artists and the like come to display and sell some doujin work.

As you can see in the above picture, this year’s CF was held at Sunway Pyramid, on 20th and 21st December.

That’s right! Imaginary Friends Studio (IFS), South East Asia’s
Premier Concept Art group, will be coming to Comic Fiesta 2008!
They’ll be bringing their artbooks, conducting live demos, and will be
on hand to have meet-the-fans sessions throughout the day!

Aspiring artists should also bring their portfolios for reviews,
cause IFS will also be at the Portfolio Pavilion too!

About Imaginary Friends Studios
Imaginary Friends Studios (IFS) is a regional homegrown concept art
and illustration studio. Founded by a group of established artists in

Upcoming soon, is the Malaysian Comic Fiesta- an event that’s organized and run by fans and volunteers.

First off, the details-

Comic Fiesta 2008
Sunway Pyramid Convention Hall
20th - 21st December 2008
11 AM to 7 PM

To enter, you will require tickets, and there are three kinds of tickets for you to get- Edu-Bulk, Pre-Order, and On-the-spot tickets. Two day tickets (Edu-Bulk and Pre-Order) cost RM25 each, while one day tickets (On-the-spot) cost RM15. If you’d like more info, please refer to their respective links.

And for those who intend to go there just to cover the event, you will first need to take a look at the strict photography rules and regulations over here.

There will be cosplayers there to see, doujins to buy, and I believe some booths will be bringing figures too (I think the figures are only on display though).

So, who’s going to be there? I’m still juggling with the idea, though it’s pretty likely that I will be attending.
